Kipling Homes ONE-OF-A-KIND custom home sweeps 2004 key wards

Shorewood-Kipling Homes recently received the coveted Crystal Key award for architectural design as well as a Gold and Bronze Keys for an impressive $2-million-plus custom home built in the Lake Forest community in southwest suburban Shorewood.

The awards recently were presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago at the annual Key Award, dubbed the "Academy Awards" of the local home building industry.

The six columned, cedar-roofed, cream stucco and stacked-stone custom home in Shorewood is a castle-like 12,000-square-foot residence that won the Crystal Key award for best overall custom home design in metropolitan chicago. The home also features four patios, an entertaining patio, a front covered patio and cooking patio with grill.

The Shorewood home also received a Gold Key and Bronze Key for its impressive architectural design.

Designed for a large " Brady-Bunch-Plus-One" family this impressive three-level home was built to accommodate a larger blended family with two working parents and plenty of formal and informal entertaining space.
